Well then allow me to brag that within this past week, the internet went down (and still isn't fixed), my laptop died, yep dead dead, and I still had to find a way to keep up with things here :D... or is that just a little bit sad :(

Worked 17 hours last night. Still awake. Rae has a doctor appt at 12:45 for her poison ivy... I have to work another 12 hours tonight?

Dang, I should be a resident in medical school. I think I'd get more rest.

She has to get a shot and she's afraid of shots. I feel so guilty sending her by herself for the shot, otherwise she would be going herself.

Hopefully she'll be able to take a friend with her. I guess I'll find out if she wakes me up at 12:15

I am running on little to no sleep today. My daughter was up ALL night coughing... again. The Signulair was working so good for a while, but now she is back on her steriode puffer, and the singulair.

Poor baby!

Has she ever taken Albuterol?

Is that the liquid ventalin? Spelling?

It sounds familiar, but in the past two years, this girl has been on more drugs than I have in 27 years.

Have you considered asking the doc for a nebulizer?

We have it, but the singulair was working so well, he decided to hold off. I don't know if you remember my thread from a few months ago. But she was on 4 puffs a day of the steriode and 6 puffs a day from the blue puffer (if the colors are the same every where).

I do have to make another appointment with her pediatrician, so I will mention it again to him. I mean he had me buy the dang machine, and they are not cheap!

We love our machine! It makes for a great bonding experience between me and Little J. We read stories, do homework, etc. He's been known to fake it just to get some Mommy time. LOL

Aww! E is my little cuddle bug, I bet she would eat that right up. It's so sad when they are sick like that. Does little J have asthma?

He has weather related asthma. We know 24 hours before the weather changes... he starts coughing a very dry cough. He's slowly growing out of it though. Hasn't had a breathing treatment in over 6 months.

Oh wow, that's really good to hear. I can't seem to find a trigger for E. One day she is fine the next she is coughing, a very deep croupy cough, like a seal barking. Some days she sounds like an 80 year old man hacking up a lung.

No cream to prevent poison ivy, but there is a shot. It doesn't prevent it, but it can lessen the effects for those severely allergic.

Well I thinks I am going to try and have a nap. I really need to mow the lawn, but sleeping sounds much better.
