Unky - As Adam said, October 31 is Halloween - and it is also Nevada Day, the day Nevada was admitted as a state. It's a holiday for us, though recently they changed our day off to the last Friday in October so that's when we have our big Halloween parties. I'd post some of my Halloween costumes, but they tend to be a little risqué. :p

I love dressing up. Lately its been all clean since I dress up with my son. I have no ideas what to be this year. I may fall back to the trusty old witch thing.

A few years ago, my friends and I did a Wizard of Oz theme. I went as the Wicked Witch. We were at a bar where they were awarding money prizes. Our team won the best team award ($250) and I won for the ugliest (also $250).

Oh my god we did the same thing. We had every character. I went as the good witch and wore a flashy 80's prom gown. We also won. Not first place though. We won a pile of drink chips. Same thing as winning the money since we would have drank the cash winnings anyway.

Well, that's why, even after 1000 posts (let's say 1300 posts were not in the homework area) I have only 170 greenies, then again, most of them are from other areas...

I guess people only want their answers, that's all, and they go away satisfied, most of the time, never to come back.

I doubt they know about the point system. I didn't understand it until I had been here a while. I also don't think many people read the homework posts, but I'll give you greenies as the system permits. Your answers are so thorough. I've forgotten so much of this stuff. In fact, there have been some 'experts' there recently. Ebaines, galactus have always been around. Perito joined recently, morgaine is now and again around, ballenberg sometimes, and so does donf. I haven't seen Capuchin for a while now... he's monitoring the whole science section :eek:

I have to limit my connection settings. Actually, I have 1.8GB downloaded, excluding the present session. I'm allowed up to 3GB for a month. If not, I pay extra charges.
