Wow we seen more than I have in Italy. Ive only been to Rome. Might go to FLorence next year. I heard that Tuscany is out of this world.
Sicily is nice too.
My husband wanted to go to Sicily, but we ran out of time.
The Almafi Coast is wonderful.
Ohh and I left out the Isle of Capri
Ma l'italia e molto bella, mi piace un sacco! ;)
Sicily is nice these days, back in the day it was abit dodgy, you know... you talking to me! LOL...
You emailed me didn't u, asking me which island I came from?
I did... one of your posts really had me interested
 which one?
What did I say?
I don't remember now... but it was something about your island that was really close to Italy... are you from Sicily?
Nope but very close ;) Much smaller than the island of sicily
Although I speak Italian hehehe
Italian... the language of love... my husband does too.
I agree people say French is the language of love but I disagree, Italian is much more romantic and bueatiful.
Im from the tiny isle of...
Malta..
U know of it?
The Maddalena Islands?
I never heard of the Maddalena Islands...
Im from The Maltese Islands.
Malta, Gozo and Comino.
Comino is inhabited and I'm from Malta :)
Mandella Islands are near Sardina.
I have never heard of your island... do you get many tourists?
I went to search them on Google as I was curious to find out.
Yes lots of tourists, mainly English, Italians, German and French Students...
Especially in our long summer seasons.
Search for Malta on Google
Just did. It looks beautiful!
:)
Its tiny isn't?
It is... but it looks like a great place
Yea, most times I love it...
Good morning from the 'cold' state of Texas, I heard you talking so I assumed somebody had the coffee brewing, or are you too busy touring the world?
We are busy touring the world, want to join? But We got a hot flask of coffee to take along with us :)
Is it snowing in Texas? Because it is cold enough to snow here :)
That is why I am traveling to KRS' island
Come Come Tuscany, always welcome.
Weather forecast in Malta right now :-
Sunny with a few scattered clouds, low winds, 22 deg Celius.
Same forecast for the whole wkend.
The drawback about Malta is it never snows here :(
I am a big fan of snow... but I like sun better!!
Snowing in Texas? Your kidding right? I haven't seen snow in a few years and what we get here barely covers the side walk, Now ice is another story. Pass that flask, lets make sure we got real coffee. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! That'll take the nip out of the air this morning.
Trying living in Nebraska! Not much to look at..! Right now the sun it out and we are all excited about it being in the 50's this weekend! (That is warm for us this time of year). The farmers almanac calls for 3 major snow storms for our area in December! Bbbbrrrr!
Tuscany... I see you are from New York! I know I will probably never make it out of the US in my life but I would LOVE to go to NEW YORK!!
I was just kidding... I live not to far from Buffalo... so we have already been pounded with a good bit of the white stuff... but hey I did not have to teach for like 4 days... and we never lost power
I must admit I definitely prefer the summer season. I mean here all we get is Summer and Winter. Exteremly HOT summers and winters do get cold but not cold enough to snow and besides we have NO moutains here. But when it rains it rains... The heavens open, we get a lot of storms, heavy ones too, which I love too.
But in America you must get all the seasons right?
Id love to visit America :D
[QUOTE=SINGLE4]Trying living in Nebraska! [QUOTE]
Where is Nebraska? :o
Depends on where you live in the states. But yes most of the US does get 4 seasons, of varying degrees. We range in temperature from -10 below to 90+ degrees Fahrenheit here in NY, but Tal in Texas might not get such a range.
How do you calculate from Fahrenheit to Celsius?
As I don't understand Fahrenheit :o
US is SOOOOOOOOOOO huge, SOOOOOOOOOOO huge man.
Not many people in Malta are lucky enough to Travel to the US, the flights are so expensive, as we don't have direct flights from here, you would need to get a connecting flight in england or germany...
I can't imagine it. Especially coming from a person like me, living on an island that 17 miles wide and 5 miles long hehehe... madness!
Temps range from -23 to 32 degrees celsius
Sorry forgot ;)
-23.. I never ever experienced such cold. The coldest it gets here is 5deg C, but the hottest it went up to was 44deg C.
It is funny... I have seen more of Italy then I have of the US. I have never been west of the Mississippi
Now that is hot!! Tal might have experienced that... 111 degrees
That is funny.
Thou Italy is smaller and u can c a lot in 3 weeks.
Have you travelled in Europe?
Yes I have. Quite abit.
I lived in england for 6 years. My husband is english.
I have been to, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Rome, and Sicily.
Its nice on the beach, actually more in the sea, sipping an ice cold maltese lager ;)Quote:
