    Yes

I always think they are harder than they really are, lol!

    Here's an easy one!

    Redrum, Redrum, Redrum!

I can remember when I was a little boy. My grandmother and I could hold conversations entirely without ever opening our mouths. She called it "shining."

    Another easy one :
"What we've got here is failure to communicate."

Oh geez! Uhmm, I want to say Airplane?

It's 3:30am! I can hear the line in my head, but my brain isn't working! Lol! Was it said by Leslie... uhmm... geez, can't even remember his last name right now! Yikes!

Ohhh, no! I just went to go to bed, and it's not Leslie Neilson (remembered his name, lol) it's a Paul Neuman movie! But now I can't remember the name of that! It was kind of a western I think! Oh crap! Goodnite, lol!

    Here's one:

"That was a horrible idea! Why did you let us do that? There's blood everywhere!"

    tomder55

Not sure ;I thought I heard that recently in a Step Brothers trailer ;or something similar to that quote .

    Try this one :

So, are you a frequenter of the Metropolitan Transit Authority too?

    No. I'm just late.

Big flag burning to get to?

Actually, it's my weekly evil-conspiracy and needlepoint group. You wanna come?

I left my thimbles and socialist reading material at home.

No Starbuck8 is right that it is a famous Paul Newman quote .

Yes, it was step-brothers. I am not sure about yours. Is it a comedy?

Sort of . Actually the main character in the movie questions if he is living in a comedy or tragedy.

Hmm... is it old or new. I'm not too familiar with some of the older movies. I am only 19. Haha

    2006

One of the co-stars of Step Brothers is the star of this movie .
  • Dec 8, 2008, 09:47 AM
    Emland

I know this one, but don't want to just jump in and answer and leave again.

    I can give another hint.

The co-star was once married to Kenneth Branagh
  • Dec 8, 2008, 10:27 AM
    adam_89

Is the co-star a big actor or small, male or female? Well, I can guess its female since they are married to a guy. I am still having trouble! I think I could get it though
  • Dec 8, 2008, 10:35 AM
    tomder55

Like I said ;the male costar was also one of the stars in Step Brothers .

Emland good hint . She is also slated to co-star in a new movie with the very famous supporting actor from this movie.

    OK, I give up!

I'll let Emland answer. In my view the actor Will Ferrell should've been considered for an academy award for his role in this movie. He was that good in it.

I think Emma Thompson got some consideration for a supporting actress nomination from this movie .

Final hint... other notable performances were Dustin Hoffman and Queen Latifa .
  • Dec 8, 2008, 11:03 AM
    adam_89

Ok, so will ferrell was an actor in it? Was it something like stranger than fiction or bewitched? I love will ferrell movies but I really didn't catch those 2. Didn't taledaga come out around then as well. Im just throwing guesses out there!
  • Dec 8, 2008, 11:04 AM

Im going with "Stranger Than Fiction"
  • Dec 8, 2008, 11:18 AM
    tomder55
    You got it .

Go get the DVD . It is not your typical Will Ferrell . The reviewers also got Bewitched wrong also... Stranger than Fiction is one of my favorite movies of the last few years .

Taledaga Nights also starred John C Reilley from Step Brothers
  • Dec 8, 2008, 11:32 AM
    adam_89

Yea I liked taledaga nights. I haven't seen all of Stranger Than Fiction. I just got it when I looked back and you said he lived in a comedy or tragedy. That gave it to me. I should rent that!

    The Shining

I saw that the failure to communicate is Cool Hand Luke
But I swear Robert DeNiro said that in Men of Honor too
Well that's an excuse for me to watch the movie again!

I didn't think it would end this way.

End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it.

What? (name deleted ) See what?

White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise.

    Well, that isn't so bad.

    No. No, it isn't.”

I've been at work all night... had to sit with a suicidal patient as there were no laboring patients.

That must have been hard. That would make for a long night!

Here's another quote until we can figure out Tomder's!

Beer is for breakfast here, drink or be gone.

    All from the same movie...

"You shot my gun! You don't shoot a man's gun!"

"What kind of a man gives cigarettes to trees?!"

(the following said at the start of a potential gun fight)
    "Jaaaaaaack?"
    "Yeah?"
    "Time out, O.K.?"
    "Time out?!"
    "Time out."
"What do ya mean, "Time out?"
"You're not going to believe this. I was in a hurry when I left the cabin this morning, and, well, silly me, I got the wrong bullets."
