Extra hard stomping is great... that is my intimidation stance... people laugh at me for it though.
Synn, I am sorry he didn't finish the book, I wonder if someone will try to do it for him? Is that possible?

I remember being terrified that JK Rowling would die an untimely death before finishing the last HP book... it was a recurrant nightmare I had... I can't even imagine it really happening, I'm sorry.

I think they have someone that may be able to work on it.

I've been reading the series since 1990. 11 books out (12 if you count the short novella "new Spring") and the next was to be the last. I know that averages out to be 1.5 years between books, but I know of a couple times I waited 3 years for a new book.

It just makes me sad... the man had a really brilliant mind.

I think it is possible. My sister is a writer and she has ghosted some work for a publisher that the writer either gave up on refused to finish. I think it would be in his contract whether they could develop any unfinished work.

There was a quote I saw that said something like the good ones are taken from us because they are just too good to stay here.. I like that. I hope her family finds solace quickly.
