Happy Birthday j-9...
Hope you have a great day
Blessings
Poor j has a pretty crap birthday ahead 7am till 7pm shift and the kids go back to school :(
Happy Birthday to someone I will always cherish as a dear friend... Love you J.
Thank you all for the well wishes. Yes, CBW, it was a pretty cruddy B-day. Rae started High School and little J started first grade. Then of course the 7a - 7p shift and a 20 week fetal demise.
So we ended up celebrating over the weekend.
Thanks again guys!
Bonne fête!
Happy belated birthday J! Sorry I missed it!
I think I missed it too Start, LOL
LMAO...
Well I turned 34 last month, all the kids are going to be in school this year. My life is just crazy and busy and a bit on the "open" side of making choices and turns in very scary ways. If my birthday came, I only knew it because my kids said Happy Birthday to me;) It's all right, I know what you are saying!
Happy birthday J_9!
... cbw, how'd you find that picture of me..
Thanks Sneezy!! Wow, that's you? I'm speechless!!
I forgot it was my birthday cause I had to work 7-7, hubby had to take the kids to school (Rae started high school), and we had a busy day in L&D.
You sure are scrumptious looking!!
Funny Sneeze... woo hoo!;)
J, that just means that those babies chose a very special day to be born!
Happy Belated Birthday J_9.
Thanks Chi!!
Yes, they did choose a special day Start, but one of them was not so lucky. :(
Awww, gosh J
Yeah, it was hard, that baby is doing well now that it has been transferred, but no telling if there will be any permanent damage.
The next day was even harder... Alty knows all about that one.
It is amazing to know people who can handle those instances. I couldn't do it J. I can help a little with love and understanding and a full heart to listen to them, but I just couldn't do what you do!
I can hear the kids... they found a snake... GOTTA GO!
It's hard Start, it really is. The second baby was only 20 weeks, 10 ounces and 9 inches. It's hard, but my passion. It's okay for the nurse to cry with the mother. It really is.
Happy belated, Sis.
I'll call you this weekend and catch up with you.
I agree. And I thank you for doing so;)
Snakes all right, captured but OK... just thought I would let you know... heehee
Awww man, I'm working all weekend. I'm off on Friday though. LOLQuote:

7PM Friday...
IT'S A DATE! 1
7 PM MY time, too, you wench ;)
Who you calling wench? LMAO, so that's 6 my time, or so I hope... just call me brain dead.
Other way... that's 8 your time.
Nope it's not 8 my time you silly girl. I am on Central time. I am an hour BEHIND you.
J... are you here? I need you
Just got home... what's up?
Less than ten minutes ago, Jett fell face first and hit his nose... I have an appointment at 3:45 for a doctor... but it is swelling and not real balck and blue, but I can see a bruise starting. I wonder if there is anything I can do besides ice... or if there is something I shouldn't do. Thanks in advance
Should I have him blow into a tissue? It bled real bad for a while, I finally got that under control. But there are still signs of blood as his nose is runny right now from crying. I gave him a IB profin
Ice is what is used in this case. DO NOT have him blow his nose into a tissue, this will only reopen any capillaries that have closed due to the ice.
Ibuprophen is good. Unfortunately, there is little that can be done for him other than what you have already done. Unless his nose is laying over on his cheek, supportive treatment is the only treatment. That means, ice, motrin, motherly love.
Poor baby, give him a hug for me. Tell him it'll be all right.
Bah. I'm on Central too, J.
I just always think you're eastern for some reason.
Okay, then it'll be 7 for both of us. I always think you are Eastern too.
Better go charge the phone batteries, we always run them down. LOL
Ohhh, thank you J. I should cancel the appointment then? There is no use in going if you already told me what to do??
I suppose, I have to keep the appointment for peace of mind... He is just in pain, I feel so bad for him:(
It wouldn't be bad to keep the appt just in case.
Get him some ice cream on the way home. That's what I got every time I hurt myself...
... ended up hurting myself just to get ice cream.
But it's OK, I turned out OK.
I will get him an ice cream cone... heehee, you are one sneacky sneezy. He is feeling better, but the appoint is still a go. Thanks guys!
I agree with Sneezy, keep the appt and get the boy and ice cream cone. Actually, this is not only emotional healing, but can help heal him physically. Hopefully he will get brain freeze. LOL, not joking though. It is a vasoconstrictor which, in layman's terms, means that it will constrict those little blood vessels and stop any future bleeding.
