Speaking of remotes, I need to find my stereo remote now... I've got it as the sound for my TV in my new setup, and can't adjust it from the couch. As a card carrying lazy guy, I find myself throwing things at it to change the volume when needed.
  • Jul 8, 2007, 05:28 AM
    curlybenswife
LOL now that's just lazy have you tried doing a bit of cleaning its quite surprising what you find you know :D

    Nosnosna
I think it may be gone forever... I haven't seen it in years.

I may take the extra-lazy way out, and just get longer cabling so I can have the main unit for it over here by the couch, so I can just reach down and twist the knob... I've already decided that I'm going to do that with the Playstation anyway, so that I can change games without unassing the couch :)

I thought that was what having kids for, when the remote is lost, or out of reach?

It was great when my twins were young, now just because they are almost 30, they just look at me when I ask to change the channel.

They seem to forget when mom went out and left me to babysit, they ended up babysitting me as I dozed. I had hell to pay when mom got home, what with all the soda and cookies all spilled about, and ruined appetites, or missed bedtimes.
