    Sanskrit translation/ clarification
I'm trying to translate "empathy" to sanskrit but I'm getting a few different answers.
The first one I found was अखंड्या
And the second one I found was सहानुभूति
What's the difference and which one (if either) is right?

    Thank you.

अखंड्या = unbreakable as addressed to female

    सहानुभूति = empathy

But it is better translated as सहवेदना

    Thank you so much!
Sense you seem to know allot about this, can you answer another question for me?
What's the difference in sanskrit and hindi script?
I want to get my last name tattooed on me and from what I've seen it would be written as हर्स्ट in sanskrit. Would it look the same in hindi?

Sanskrit, Hindi & Marathi all the languages use the same Devanagari Script [The Script of City of Gods] to write letters which is a phonetic script. As the name is pronounced the same way in Devanagari script , it will be the same. If it is pronounced differently, its written form will change.
