They're goldfish that fell from a windowsill?

I don't understand why they couldn't be 2 people who had a fight and fell through a balcony window. Am I missing something?

Wow--they really musta busted your deity powers!

    Where'd the water come from?

    It was raining?

Not as far as the question says MonkeyBoy... ;)
  • Feb 23, 2007, 05:55 PM
    Capuchin
It doesn't state either way. It just says "surrounded by water". That says raining to me. I don't get why this is a riddle at all.

    Nosnosna
It's missing the important bit of information that the windows are closed and unbroken, or something similar.

Ah thank you Nosnosna :) Ever the voice of reason!

    (need to spread the rep)

Um, I like the first answer, fish. The fishbowl is full of water, and it fell out the window.

I know how it's possible. They fell out of the 27th floor with a glass of water or something in their hand. I don't really see how it's not possible.

They forgot to let go of the ice sculpture they were throwing out the window!

    Here's another one...

A scientific expeditions in the North Pole uncovers a cave. In that cave they find the two perfectly preserved bodies of two people. A man and a woman. The bodies have been in this frozen state for many thousands of years. A scientist is brought in to determine what he can about them.

He looked over the bodies carefully and concluded that they were the bodies of Adam and Eve. How could he know this?
  • Feb 25, 2007, 07:24 AM
    Capuchin
They had the same DNA? Heh.
  • Feb 25, 2007, 07:28 AM
    robynhgl
He looked at the bodies and he knew. No DNA tests.

    How did he know?
  • Feb 25, 2007, 07:35 AM

No apple. He could tell just by looking at them...

I'll give you the answer later. But I'll answer your guesses so you can figure it out.

    No belly buttons?

Capuchin, just found this thread. The no belly buttons was what popped into my mind when I read robyn's riddle.

Regarding the OP at top, Nosnosna was right, Addy left out a crucial piece of info in the riddle.

    No belly buttons is correct.

If they were created--there would be no need for an umbilical cord.

    Smart Monkey! LOL!

Yes, robyn, Capuchin is one smart monkey! :) If you look at some of the monkey's posts, you will see some mind boggling answers. Definitely leaves me in awe at the way that brain operates!

Yes--I've noticed that he's a pretty smart kid. A rather dry sense of humor too that I think is great.

I would hazard a very safe guess that one day, Capuchin will be world leading in his field of choice.

No honey. It has been a while since I have seen that riddle but Nosnosna hit on it. There is an additional piece to it and it goes something like, the sun is shining and the window was open, not broken. As I said, I can't really remember the exact wording.

Oh thanks! Now I'm going to have nightmares! The MonkeyBoy a leader! Yikes!

(Bet you're right though... he's really something! But don't tell him I said so---wouldn't want to embarrass him!)

Does that mean God has no belly button, as he created man in his own image?
  • Feb 26, 2007, 08:27 AM
    RubyPitbull
Of course. If you are a believer of what is taught in the Bible, Eve was "cursed" by God to give birth, after failing to heed God's warning not to eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge. So, the concept of childbirth was created then, not before.

This riddle is drawn upon the teachings of the Bible.

So bellybuttons are an embodiment of sin!

    FUN!!

So what is bellybutton lint? Should we not be collecting it in jars? :P
