News flash -- I called the Milwaukee PL reference desk and asked about page jobs (you have to be a student in high school or college), so that is out. Their website has .pdf applications for employment and volunteer, but nothing sounds like your kind of thing at the main library right now. She said you should call various suburban library branches that you'd be able to get to, since each have their own needs and job openings. BUT, she told me that they highly recommend this particular job site, so give it a look --

And feel very good about jobs now that my resume looks decent. Goodness this feeling is wonderful haven't felt like this in a looong time. Oh and umm, I see a posting for Goodwill that I applied too a long time ago and got an intriew but I screwed up the questions badly because of very bad anxiety and they never called me back.
