They are real
35:1 Praise be to Allah, Who created (out of nothing) the heavens and the earth, Who made the angels, messengers with wings,- two, or three, or four (pairs): He adds to Creation as He pleases: for Allah has power over all things.

And they have many purposes
40:7 Those who sustain the Throne (of Allah. and those around it Sing Glory and Praise to their Lord; believe in Him; and implore Forgiveness for those who believe: "Our Lord! Thy Reach is over all things, in Mercy and Knowledge. Forgive, then, those who turn in Repentance, and follow Thy Path; and preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire!

Some in charge of rain, some for writing what we do, some for delivering the message such as the nagel Jebreel, and some for taking our souls to die, and so on, everything in the universe and everywhere has angels

There will be no purpose of our creation if God showed himself now as the big challenge is believing
