    Paypal eBay
I just started an eBay acct because I need a paint program software.
I filled out the section to pay using my debit mastercard and it says unable to process.

I don't know what I am doing wrong. Is there something I have to do with the paypal or some step I am missing? It says I already signed up for paypal. Then it keeps telling me my session is over when I try to go back and do it again.

Can anybody help me figure out why its not going through?
I tried finding answers on the site but it keeps going to stuff that doesn't help any.
I have more than enough money on the card.

Check your internet firewall settings, your PC may not be letting you go through some steps as it is a secure site.

How long are you spending filling it out, the security on that site is pretty nuts and if you take to long it can log you out automatically.

I am talking to my daughter on the phone and she said I have to deposit the money into paypal first or something.
I think I am not using the paypal right or missed a step.

I will have to ask my son if it is the firewall or some security thing on the computer.

I never had to deposit money into paypal first but that is an option you can do.
I used my bank card and the money goes straight from there to pay-pal and then takes 3 days to clear before it goes to the seller.

I hope you get it sorted :)

I hope so too because it is the paint program that I do my abstract kalidescope art in and I like it way better than pro shop or correl.
I lost my other one about 20 years ago.
I have never seen any other ones ever until now.

Do they have any other pay options?

They might accept a bank deposit or cheque?
It's a little slower but if you contact them and tell them you are having a problem with paypal I'm sure they would do something else.

It said sellers method of payment
    Paypal.

Paypal has a technical support number too somewhere on the site, my mum had to call them because she got charged twice for the once thing once.

If you can't get it working just send them an e-mail.

When I sell my artwork on e-bay I always put PalPal as my preffered methos but if someone can't pay that way I'm happy to take another method.

Sorry I can't be of more help :o

    I went to this page.
It is the only one I can find for the pay pal.
It is ALL automated, even the part where you type in a question, and I can't seem to find anything that helps.

On that page, click on the part that says
    Speak to us
Call us if you can't find your answer in the Help Center.

It will ask you to log in then I'm pretty sure it comes up with the help number for your area.

    Got it thank you.

I called and went to paypal site and set up an account. I don't know why when I was clicking on paypal on eBay it said my paypal acct was established.

If you need programs like a paint program I keep track of the best freeware out there. Let me know your specs and I can offer alternatives that won't cost you a cent.

This is the program I need.
PC Paintbrush Designer PC CD classic art creation tool - eBay (item 270356205026 end time Jun-30-09 20:04:42 PDT)
It is the only one that I know that has the kalidescope effect and the only one I know how to or feel comfortable with using.

Do you know any others like this?

Forgive the image as I did this in literally 20 seconds...
I use Paint Shop Pro (9 I think it is)
    And it does these effects...

I like that one of yours with the bubbles  very nice

That's a tough call when you are looking for one specific effect. Try looking at the specs for the higher end programs here: Best Free Digital Image Editor I use this site and trust it.

Your picture on the left is what I am looking for. Was that the pro shop?
When I used the pro shop I couldn't find that effect and I had a difficult time doing anything with it.
Also every time I found a pro shop program on the internet OR that I could afford it ended up being a timed limited edition that only allowed you to use it so many hours.

Here's the program from the manufacturer's site: Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 - Photo Editing

Corel use to be a Canadian company so I've known them for a while. They bought the company that used to make PSP - JASC.

It's Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9
If you have it you go to "Effects" and then "Distortion" and there is a "Ripple" effect...

You can play with all the settings, the one I did was just the basic one that it is already set to.

NeedKarma might be able to help you find it :) *wink wink nudge nudge*

EDIT - Beat me to it ;)

NK's pic on the right I would use distortion and ripple but I never got the kalidescope looking effect with the distortion and ripple.

This is how I did the one on the Left...
There is an actual Kalidescope effect in the program that you can play with and change...

Sorry for the pictures, I'm just useless at explaining things.
Is this the sort of thing you are looking for?

Wow the paint pro I had didn't have that option but that was about 10 yrs ago that I tried it. Thank you for letting me know exactly which one I need to look for next time I am looking.
I finally did pay for the eBay one and hope there is no problems with it.

Glad you sorted it out finally :)
PalPal is great... most of the time!

If you ever come across it give it a go, I much prefer it to programs like Photoshop but a lot of people will disagree.

There is no need to deposit money in Paypal since you are only using it to pay goods online. Besides, your debit card would already have been registered with Paypal.
