Bobalky? It doesn't sound familiar. It may be that I have and we just call it something else. If it's German than every town has it's own name for it. We're silly like that. You can drive 2 hours and end up in a town where their dialect is impossible to understand, even though they're still speaking German.

For instance. And egg is an ei but in Weikersheim, where I lived before moving to Canada, it's called a gukale (you pronounce the e at the end).

Ohhh, I just read the recipe... yummie, hard work though, but well worth it.

When do you start baking? And store them in the freezer? (How do you keep people from snitching them?)

I used to make 35 dozen or so, but now I'm old and I have only 8 different kinds on my list so far.

I've never baked before. I just got the recipes in the mail from Mom today.

This'll be a first for me.
