No ladders at all... you know better. Marta is right! You know that too:)
Good idea on having them hung by a company, I like that.;)

Our lights stay up year round. Too many times R has been on the roof when it's already snowed and it's -20. He's too clumsy for that situation to be a good idea. ;)

Geeze, want to be creative and everyone yells at cha...

We are having Thanksgiving here again this year and we expect about 30 - 35 people. I have Thanksgiving displays up now inside and out. But, I will have most if not all the Christmas decorations/displays for outside up by then. I expect a few to 'ride' me about having them up so early however it is in the 40's now and will be in the low 30's after Thanksgiving so they are going up now...

I can see Stringer's house from my back porch. Certainly he'll invite me SINCE I'M RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD. I'll bring Puffy Cauliflower and walnut fudge.

WG, send me some turkey and some stuffing. Ooh, and mashed potatoes. Is there any blaukraut? Spaetzle? Just make up a plate for me, I'm not picky. ;)

Definitely bring the (chocolate) walnut fudge hon, but leave that puffy thing (cauliflower) at home... anyways anything that is a flower should be sniffed not eaten... :)

Good point, I will be wearing expandable slacks when I sit down at this banquet: turkey, ham, stuffing, dressings, sides, pie (pumpkin, cherry and apple), cranberry sauce, hot rolls, and finally deserts... watch out!

Okay, I'll bring some German flavor. Spaetzle, blaukraut, und shwarzwald kuchen. You game? :)

That's all you're bringing, Alty? Stringer says he'll be wearing stretch pants. Since he's thrown my Puffy Cauliflower under the bus, maybe I'll bring glazed carrots and eggnog ice cream.

I can bring more, but spaetzle and blaukraut aren't easy to make. Okay, spaetzle is, but blaukraut from scratch, not so much. I'll by the shwarzwald kuchen. No way can I make it and have it taste authentic. German bakery here I come.

I had to look up blaukraut to see what that was... turns out I knew what it was, just not the German name for it... mmmm good stuff.
