What temp. should air be coming out of A/C vent?
The temperature of the air coming out of the A/C vents in my house is 80 degrees. Is that normal? The temp. in my house goes up to 87 deg. During the day even though I have it set to 82. I live in Florida.
    Thanks
    Joe

It should be 55-62 degrees out of vent. You need to go outside and check to see if outside fan and condenser is coming on. Does the airflow out of the vent feel normal or is it not coming out as strong as usual indicating that the evaporator is iced over.

Temps in the low to mid 50s are what you want. For vents that are very very far away from the air handler, around 60 may be normal. Anything above that and you need to have something fixed.
