First make sure the filter is clean.
You do not want a to high an amount of air in the heating mode but post the Brand along with the EXACT model number for a answer.
Carrier brand model number 40aq024330er
High speed blower fan problems my brand is a carrier model number 40aq024330er
Look that model number over again. No such format from Carrier. Sorry
The number you want is on the furnace face or side area behind the front burner door. Please post back to your oringinal post since your messages posted in a ne link are hard to follow.
Tough one: It's a fan coil. Manual here: http://www.xpedio.carrier.com/idc/gr...it/40aq-2p.pdf
Could not find it. I guess my Carrier stuff is getting old. LOL
More 40aq stuff:

Guess your not into collecting antiques: It's a 1989 model. 20 years old. Almost an antique. I'l admit. I didn't find it the standard way/
If you have a 4 speed motor, you can bump it. Probably best to just not use the lowest speed.
Heat typically uses a lower speed than cool. I haven't looked at this close enough, Don't know if it uses a standard fan coil stat where the stat controls the speed.
Your welcome. It's one one of their sites, but their search engine would not find it.
Here's another of the outside unit: http://www.docs.hvacpartners.com/idc...38rq-2si~2.pdf
We do not teach too much of the old suff. It is hard enough to keep up with the new stuff. All the old stuff is on the main frame at the university and I am to lazy to access it from home.
Can't be that hard to set up a VPN connection which the University should have. Ssh is a pain to set up, but once you have it set up, you don't even need to provide password.
I'm assuming this is a Unix mainframe.
There is so much security setup that is why it is a pain. They have Gov docs for all kinds of stuff we have worked on over the years and are working on now. It just about takes an act of congress to gain access when actually there and I have a full pass (class 1) since many years ago I was run through the meat grinder when I started the testing program for the Gov. The nice part is that while I teach there (A gratis) I do not work for them or get paid so they cannot tell me exactly what to do but they do like the revenue from my testing setup with the manufactures and the Gov. I have fun doing what I do there but the time is getting close to move on as age and other interests in the HVAC industry keep calling my name. LOL The only item keeping me there is loyalty to my past and present students and the fact that no other PE has an interest or has the knowledge to pass the required testing to take the place over. Life is always full of little problems and it is only when they add up that counts.
