Bryant 50-394U won't light or blow
I am trying to help my elderly neighbor she has an older Bryant SM-E 50-394U. It had a wire that tied into the thermocouple that I noticed was melted when I went to light the Pilot light for her (my first time for her). She said before I replaced the wire she did have fans and AC, but no heat. I cleaned unit as it was really dirty, removed burners and such. I replaced wire with same length and gague, and new spade. Light the Pilot (Pilot stays on), but no ignition, and no blower from AC or Heater. I have worked on units of and on through out the years so I feel fairly comforatable. No action from any position on the thermostadt, I will try bypassing it tomorrow. Thanks for help

Start by checking for 24 volts at the gas valve then trace backwards till you find the open circuit.
