    Time will most definitely prove them right. One only must look to Canada for a prime example. Over the last few weeks, my friend's elderly mother-in-law fell and was "put to bed" (at home) by the EMT's who arrived after she called 911. After she fell again, she spent 4 days in the triage of a hospital because there were no hospital beds available to her. She just got a room but its actually at another hospital, one hour away. She needs hip replacement but it won't be scheduled till mid-May "at the soonest". She's also on a waiting list for spinal surgery.

    Sorry--I know its off topic but it's a big deal to me ;)
