    How damaging IS hair dye?
I'm going to try make this simple to read :)

    -im 16,

-i've dyed my hair about 8 times using home dye since I was about 13 mainly dark colours

    -got it stripped

-its naturally straight so I don't straighten it, I blow dry it a few times a week

    - its kind of dry but its very sleek and doesn't get greasy quickly!

I just want to know how damaging hair dye really is?

My mom keeps saying I'll go bald from it,
But I think its about the cost really:P
Because she dyes hers all the time :D

Its currently highlighted all over, blonde and like strawberry blonde,
But highlights are damn expensive and really hard to do at homE!
I should know, because me and my friend messed up my hair preetty bad,
You can see at the roots how we just painted a lot of it on once we got bored :o

I reallly would love to get my hair dyed a deep dark red! Not ginger, like hayley williamsish, but not too bright:o
But should I just get it brown and leave it to grow out a bit for a while *sigh how I hate my natural colour*; mousy brown

I deep condition it all the timee so what's the deal am I going to go bald?
Please reply soooon any help appreciated esp from fellow hair dye lovers:D
Because am going to check out salon prices tomorrow on my way to work:)
    Thaaaaaanks x

I know women that dye their hair and perm it religiously and they have bald spots or heavily thinning spots on their head.
Also some people claim the dyes and perms can contribute to Alzheimers which I believe seeing the old women in nursing homes that have alzheimers and always had their hair done through their entire life.
I would just dye and/or perm whenever you really want a change but never regularly.
