    Orange to brown hair color?
I've had black hair, and decided to go brown, so I went to salon and I got the black color out, now it's orange.(I didn't bleached it, so it's not damaged that much) I've dyed it with palette DELUXE 400 Medium Blond, but there's no difference at all... I know it sounds stupid cause it's lighter color than my orange... So What color should I dye it to get brown? I want to light brown, like my natural. :S:S:S:S
I'm really paranoid about this whole thing, I don't want to be stuck with this orange hair.:S :(:(:(

I would recommend dying it a SEMI-PERMANENT light ash brown color, considering you claim to have a lot of orange in your hair. Taking into consideration the health of your hair can be a big factor in choosing a hair color to dye with... for example, if you have very porous hair (like me) opt for a dye about one shade lighter than the color you want to end up with, because porous hair grabs onto dye and makes it look darker.
Another thing you could do is look for this new brand of SEMI-PERMANENT(can't stress this enough to only use SEMI's)called Clairl natural instincts brass free brunettes collection. It claims to minimize red/orange tones in your hair and leave it a nice, natural brown color. It comes in dark brown, medium brown, light brown, and lightest brown, and possibly more, but those are the colors I'm aware of. :)
Again, please take care to never use permanent dye, I've made this mistake far too many.

This is all simply my advice, I don't gauruntee anything will work for you, but am offering suggestions on how to better your situation.

    Best of luck :)
