Not always. I'm still royally stuck on the king. (No pun intended.)
Or is that on the other thread?
What is odd about this sentence?
"Was it a cat I saw"
You really know? You just don't want to give it away yet?
You aren't dumb, it is tricky. I would have not got it if I didn't see the answer immediately after reading it. Just look closely at it and every detail.
Very Good, aee how smart you are?
I got the cat one immediately.
Now when is someone going to tell me the answer to the king one that I can't get??
Sorry, this isn't the hardest one in the world. I'm picking these up from another forum and just plopping them in order I find them:
On your way to downtown you see a croud of men. You can see two walking in front of two, two walking between two and two walking behind two. How many men do you see?
Four :D
8:eek:
Hexxie's got it. I'm sure that was too easy.
Ah, chivalry.
You're flying on a plane over the ocean. You throw out two bags at the same time. A 10kg bag of feathers and a 10kg bag of iron. Which bag will hit the ground first?
It was pretty funny that where I saw this posted everyone kept trying to analyze the weights of the things, and it took like 10 posts for someone to finally notice they were over the ocean. :-)
A farmer and his hired help were carrying grain to the barn. The farmer carried one sack of grain and the hired help carried two sacks. Who carried the heavier load and why?
(I really should be outside getting work done while it's still light instead of doing this.)
World calling Kitkat! I just did another one. ;)
No.
Yes, someone carried a heavier load.
The farmer carried the grain and the hired guy carried two empty sacks! YES
Congrats. :-)
You´ve got 2 glasses of wine. One with red wine, the other one with white wine.
Now you take a spoonful of the white and put it into the red glass, stir this, and then you take a spoonful from this stirred one and put it back into the white.
Is there more white wine in the red glass than red wine is in the white glass or is it the other way around, or is it equal?
Can you explain why?
