Yes, I believe you Bella, I really do. Unless I forgot something then you solved it. The killing was an accident though. Barney didn't do it on purpose. You have won, good job.

I was busy trying to fix things here... and there are still more which come up... too long of a story.

Woo HoO!! What did I win? A toaster?

Honestly, I have never heard this one before!! Kind of reminds me of a Law and Order episode.

    Ok I will than.

A man lives on the twelfth floor of an apartment building. Every morning he takes the elevator down to the lobby and leaves the building. In the evening, he gets into the elevator, and, if there is someone else in the elevator -- or if it was raining that day -- he goes back to his floor directly. Otherwise, he goes to the tenth floor and walks up two flights of stairs to his apartment.

    Why?

Back on Barney. I think it's a lot because I asked if he was human. I've not heard that one before, but for some reason I just got it into my head that Barney was not a person - I mean, who else would be curled up asleep oblivious to someone's death? It did in fact occur to me that Barney killed them (though I didn't think how).

It also did occur to me that Fred and Wilma were not humans either, and I almost just asked about all 3 all at once, but decided to get the answer on Barney first. (That's what I get - whole thing passed me by when I was busy working.)

As soon as I realized Fred and Wilma were not human, I was basically already onto the idea as well.

EDIT: Probably doesn't hurt that I just watched Fish Called Wanda again recently. LOL.

As for the man in the apartment, I've heard that one... except there wasn't the exception of "unless someone's in the elevator or it's been raining" when I've done it. I get the someone else in the elevator part. I'll have to think about what rain has to do with it.

By the way, this is a super common one. I need to find the circus one - I haven't seen it online anywhere except for where I originally heard it.

    Oh a thought below:

He's got an umbrella and uses it to push the button???
