No fire, no firetruck.

Alty will come back after she's eaten and her brain starts functioning again.
No fire? No firetruck?
That sucks!
Flash flood? Toilet overflowed? The well exploded?
I give up... for now. ;)
Was it caused by a natural disaster?
Did the saltwater come from the ocean? From a saltwater lake?
The location of the cabin is important. Is it important which continent it is on? Or do we just need to know the type of setting? Such as, is it in a forest?
Darn - I really thought the tsunami was it. :)
Is the cabin on a mountain overlooking the ocean?
Is a boat involved?
Did they die in the cabin? Did they die in the ocean accidentally but were moved to the cabin? (edit - just realized that there was more than 3-4 inches of water in the cabin, but I'll leave my questions. Who knows?)
We have a winner! It's all about different types of cabins.
Here's the official answer:
They were traveling to their destination by cruise ship. The hull of the ship was rammed during the night, and their cabin was below the water line. The pressure of the water held the door shut, they could not escape, and the rescuers were too late to save them.
Great job.
I've got to go too. My wife is in Rome, Italy (flight attendant) and it's just us boys at home. Bedtime.
See you tomorrow.
My brain hurts. Thanks for that JM. ;)
Dinner is in the oven, it's "throw together what we have in the house" night. Should be interesting. I can't wait to taste it. ;)
We have noodles, spaghetti sauce, garlic, cheese, peas, and a few seasonings. I boiled the noodles, layered all the other ingredients, put it in the oven, and now I'm crossing my fingers that picky eater 1 and 2 will eat it.
Another riddle?
Anyone?
A "clue" that is intentionally misleading?Quote:
1. They were at least a mile from the nearest lake.
I had already started another over here:
