So... if he says "boil me in oil" and they do, it fits.
If he says "boil me in water" and it happens, then it was a right prediction, which means it shouldve been an oil death.
Farking fairies.

k.
Tell me what color I'm thinking of.
If you are right, take off your top.
If you are wrong, take off your bottom.
If you are not sure, do both, scoot to the edge of the bed and place a pillow under your arse.
If you are not alty, ignore this message... or convince me otherwise...
I'm not sure. :)
I just told that daughter one to my brother, over the phone where he couldn't keep looking at it, he asked one quick question to clarify the question itself, and then had it solve immediately. It's like he didn't even take a split second to think. (Imagine being analytical, logical, math-oriented, but having to grow up around that.)
Susan gave John as many dollars as John started with. John then gave Susan back as much as Susan had left. Susan then gave John back as many dollars as John had left, which left Susan broke and gave John a total of $80.00. How much did Susan and John each have at the beginning of their exchange?
(I'm sure this is still too easy for Morgaine.)
I found the answer (if I didn't make any mistake that is :o).
Spoiler:
Susan: $50, John: $30
JL, anything that is pure logic, with a definitive answer, and doesn't require any "weird" thinking, I will probably be able to solve. (As long as it's not so long and complicated that I decide I don't care anymore.) I posted one in the other thread:
https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/games/...-493534-6.html
Which is logical, but it requires a bit of interpretation with it as well. I didn't get it (I found a solution, but not the correct one) until some other people started "thinking out loud" and then I finally picked up on the interpretation part. Then I could solve it.
Anyway, came up with the same answer as Unky. I'll leave it for a bit if someone else wants to try.
I have been enjoying all your riddles. The number sequence one drove me potty. I'm normally around when most of you are sleeping so I'll leave you a few as a pressie for morning:
What English word is pronounced exactly the same if you remove four of its five letters?
I travel all around the world yet stay in the corner. What am I?
You can take away the whole yet some still remains. What is it?
I'm a night person. I'm still around. :)Quote:

Spoilers for anyone who hasn't had a chance yet:

A stamp!!
Has the father/son one been solved yet?
I am an insect. The first half of my name reveals another insect. Famous musicians had a name similar to mine. What am I?
The musicians part is a dead giveaway.
Yup
