I've now officially given up on the sequence puzzle. I looked at the thing about the dolls. Saying it out loud is meaning nothing to me. And my brain has decided it no longer wants to try. :-)

Well, after your sleepless night, I can imagine your brain is tired. :) Each line describes the previous one. Line #1 is 1. Line #2 describes that line #1 has one 1, line #3 describes line #2 as having two 1's, etc. Hope that makes sense.

    1
    11
    21
    1211
    111221
    312211

    You can make me
    You can take me
    You can watch me
But you can never stop me... What am I?

OK, I get it now. But even after you explained it, it took me a while to put it together. I haven't looked at the answer so let's see if I'm even understanding it.

    1113213211?

    Sheesh!

And what's that sleepless night you refer to? I'll you know I almost got 2 hours' worth!

Do another one. I love these.

    Ok, try this one:

2 fathers and 2 sons go fishing. Each of them catches one fish. So why do they bring home only 3 fishes?

I read another riddle just like that so I know the answer. I'll let someone else answer, but in the meantime here's another:

    My daughters

I have 10 or more daughters.

I have less than 10 daughters.

I have at least 1 daughter.

If only one of these statements is true, how many daughters do I have?

    At least 1?

I know the father/son one too.

I have less than 10 daughters. Zero.

But less than 10 can be 9 or 8 or 7...

Right. Okay, now I have to go find a harder one... either that or go to bed early. Decisions. :p

Ok, I know this is going to make me sound REALLY stupid, but how does less than 10 automatically make it 0?

It can't be any number between 1 and 9 as that would make two of the statements correct - at least 1 and less than 10.

It can't be any number 10 or greater as that makes two statements correct - at least 1 and 10 or more.

With zero the only correct statement is less than 10.

My vote is for a harder one.

Okay... seems like I'm the only one who never heard of this one... :(

    One fish was eaten?
The basket of fish wasn't big enough to hold 4 fishes?
Or... one father and his two sons bring home 3 fishes, and the other father's sons didn't come, so he went to his home with only one fish?

Truthfully, I didn't know this one, but I've heard too many like it, so it wasn't like a reach.

It's always so hilareous watching someone else solve something. It's kind of like when someone I know is playing a computer game I've already played, and listen to them trying to figure out part of the story or something like that.
