Possibly the Steelers may loose, but I don't think so. It's all about defense and especially in the big one.

Adam: For what it's worth, the last time I had this feeling the Patriots upset the Rams in SB XXXV. I didn't predict it, but I had this feeling... something shocking...

Hmm... who did the Steelers beat in the playoffs anyway? The 8-8 Chargers... the rookie-quarterbacked Ravens... not that impressive. Who did the Cardinals beat? The Falcons... okay, rookie QB... the Panthers AT CAROLINA... in a BEAT DOWN! The Eagles... in a late come-from-behind thriller... IMPRESSIVE!

Very True. I want the Cards to win. I just believe that Defense wins the games. Especially the big ones. Just like the saying, "Offense sells tickets, Defense wins games." Things aren't turning out the way I expected them to, so it's hard saying. I guess we will wait and see. I keep hearing Big Ben is fine for superbowl. What happened to him?

Considering the whole package, it seems pretty balanced Adam.

Well, yea, I was just posting this so people could see it. I think Warner comes out looking better. Well, compared to the main stats. Less times being sacked. About 7% better on completion percentage, more yards, more touchdowns, better pass rating.

Yeah, you are right about that no question, but I was speaking to the 'overall', but your points are well taken. It should be a great game Sunday, worth the admission.

At the end of the day... I still feel, even with the good possibility of freaky things happening, that the defenses have always been the major factor in the big games... we'll see though.

Anything obviously can happen. I'll be having a few ice cold ones with family and friends sitting before my 'jumbo' screen, oh yeah, pizza and wings also... ha.:D

Good info, Adam. I think Ben is the most over rated QB in the NFL, but I still think Steelers will win.

More than anything, I hope my pool numbers win. Who couldn't use some extra cash in this economy? ;)

    Have fun today, everyone!!

773H yes he is, he gets waaay toooo much credit for the Steelers' success. He fits their style, but they win sometimes in spite of him, not because of him.

    Cards played a terrific game...

The last quarter and a half was pretty damn good but I still think a couple of those personal fouls against the Cards was sticky-tack. Roughing the holder? I mean come on!

Nice, uncalled clip, right in front of an official, on the 100 yd int.-ret.-TD. I really, really, really hate the Steelers.

Well, I missed all the talk for a couple of days. I came into work for a couple of hours to do my month end reports but I had to bad of a hangover that I had to go back home. Anyway, it was pretty awesome game. That 100 yd int. return was bad for Warner to throw it on the 2yd line. Who does that kind of thing. Then as you see The guy running by Warner, another Steelers defender has Warner by his jersey. What's with that? Oh well. Is anybody watching the probowl game? I haven't ever watched it, but I think I will this year.

That's a good one, Stringer. I've copied and pasted it here so that Adam can read it.

Bob is awarded a free ticket to the Super Bowl by his company.

Unfortunately, when he arrives at the game, he realizes the seat is way up in the last row in a remote corner of the stadium. He can barely make out the tiny green rectangle far below.

Then, about halfway into the first quarter, Bob notices an empty seat just a few rows off the field, right on the 50-yard line. He decides to go for it and makes his long way down through the stadium, sweet-talks his way past the security guards, and sits in the empty seat.

He asks a man in the next seat "Say, is anybody sitting here?". The man says "Nope".

Thrilled to find such a great seat for the game, Bob again inquires of the man next to him, "This is incredible! Who in the world would hold a seat like this for the Super Bowl and not use it?"

The man in the next seat replies, "Actually, the seat belongs to me. I was planning to be here with my wife, but she passed away. This is the first Super Bowl we haven't watched together since we married 35 years ago."

Bob expresses solemn condolences: "Gee, that sure is sad, sir. But couldn't you have found somebody else to share your seats - a relative or a close friend, perhaps?"

"Nope," the man replies, trying to concentrate on the game. "They're all at the funeral"
