Yep, and it won't be his choice this time either.

Let me ask you'se a question then.

By Favre coming back from retirement the past few years (mostly this year and last year) did it hurt him? (reputation wise and hall of fame wise)?

I can't be fair in my answer as I NEVER liked Bart Fart at all, An he has shown himself to be even less in the last couple years...

All I have to say is he should have stayed retired the first time. His reputation is not going to be great at all. Him coming back did secure his records a little bit but Manning can still reach some of them so he isn't completely safe in his records.

Either Favre kept coming back to secure his records or like he said he loved the game so much and he didn't know what else to do. Either way, I am glad he will be done after this year. I don't see a team picking him up after this year. Look what he did with the Vikings this year? And they have some great players.

I don't think you will be looking back and saying, "One of the greatest Quarterbacks of all time was Brett Favre" He took that away from himself when he came back. People lost respect.

Well, the Metrodome collapsed, I guess even God wants Bart Fart to retire...

HAHA classic comment Stringer. Very nice! I agree 110% Adam. I will never view Brett Favre as the greatest or one of the greatest!

Well the Colts move up to 8-6 on the year and are 2 games away from making the playoffs. Hopefully they win out and Jacksonville loses out. I can't believe that we had a running game yesterday and Jacksonville had none.

Yea, the lions are a great team, or at least it seems like they put some heart into it.

Wish the Bears good luck tonight in Minnasota.

Thanks adam, with the bears well... you never know. They definitely have talent but... you don't know who will show up to play at 100%. AND another game on a frozen field... enough is enough. I'll bet you that there will be injuries.

Yea, playing on that field is going to be tough. At least neither team is at an advantage for home field except that Minnasota has probably been using it the past week or so. Hopefully no injuries.

Did you watch the game j? Hester broke the return punts for TD record tonight and Cutler was maaaarvelous...

And that defense wow! Urlacker even had an interception although it was called back due to a penalty. Farve started but was out by the second quarter.

Feed the Bears!! They captured their N E Division title tonight as Green Bay lost yesterday. Second now in the NFC,

Actually, I was sleeping until around 10:30. Hubby woke me up with his hooping and hollering!!

What's up with Favre? Hubby said this may be his last game ever.

As I said in this thread. ' I think even God wants him to retire as he deflated the Metrodome... :) Never liked the guy personally or professionally...

Yay! Bears beat the crap out of the Vikings and of all teams, the Bears gave Favre a concussion that may have ended his career for good. Good job Bears. I hope to see you in the Superbowl against the Colts. It could easily happen but would definitely be a better game with the Colts playing a little worse and the Bears playing a lot better. Just have to get in the playoffs and get past the Patriots.

Which part about that is funny?

The Bears making it to the Superbowl or the Colts?

I am pretty sure the Colts have made it to the Superbowl a couple of times, and due to injuries we have been sucking this year but still stand a good chance of making it to the playoffs and the superbowl. Colts are still one of the best teams in the NFL. As well as Peyton Manning is one of the best Quarterbacks of all time. That is a fact! Not an opinion.

The Colts! I am a die-hard Colt hater (maybe because my uniform in HS was an exact replica of the colts unifrom ;)) but either way I am not a Manning fan.

PS. I don't like the Bears because their in the same division as my beloved Lions!

How is this a fact. Statistically yes! But you didn't say that. Calling someone the best or one of the best of all time is merely opinion. If you are referring to statistics then yes I agree but if you're referring to that article that was released were Manning was rated # whatever then I disagree!

Ok, I was according to statistics and the records he is one the way to break. I knew there were people out there that hated the Colts and Manning but I never wanted to come across them. I guess it is like my hate for Tom Brady and the Patriots.

Hopefully, win or lose I support them. But I'm not holding my breath. So many close games this year that they easily could have been atop the NFC North

I agree. I think they should have won a lot more games than they have. I thought they had the Patriots beat then they must have felt out of place being up so they just quit.

Good job Colt's and good job Manning for running the ball for 27 yds. That was impressive. Then he was so respectful that he slid instead of scoring the touchdown. Most people don't play with that anymore. Good Job Bears... close one.

Respectful? He should have ran the extra two yards.

P.S. 3 game winning streak in Detroit. :D The town doesn't know what to do!

Yes, I just read about that a few minutes ago. Sorry I didn't include that. I was actually mad that Manning didn't run in the touchdown. Really dissapointing because it will never happen again.

Well very poor showing for the Bears yesterday but they have the 2nd seed in the NFC, we'll see.

Congrats on the Colts Adam they nade the playoffs, I told you they would.

And watch out for those Lions next year. Was it 4 or 5 straight wins recently?

Some times even a team with a lot of talent needs one thing and that is to learn to win. And it looks as though they have.
