I want my adopted daughter back!
My daughter was taken by cps and my rights were terminated the reason they took my rights was because she had been with the foster family for so long which was only a year they gave me no other reasons. The adoption just went through and I was wondering if there was anything I could do to get her back! We need each other! Please help me!!

What State? An adoption cannot be finalized without a full investigation of the circumstances and a hearing.

    Were you notified?

Why did the Police take her? Have you tried to get custody back over the past year? And where is the father?

Sorry for all the questions but really need more info to form an opinion -

Hi, I was in a similar situation as yourself, my daughter was taken into care when she was 3 n a bit because I was 17 and living with my alcoholic mother, therefore the case was taken to court and the SS were agreeing adoption from word go. She was only in care just over a year with me fighting everyday to get her back,I got myself a house and stopped contact with my mother in able for me to get my daughter back. The court agreed with SS to put her up for adoption because I failed the physiological assessment, which was done on my upbringing in care myself. There excuse was as I did not have a good role model for a mother they said it would take to long for me to "grow up" in terms of age wise. I had a baby a year ago and was assessed by my GP and a counselor and by the SS again and they ALL said that I did not need any support. That I was a brilliant mum! So why take my daughter if they say that? What can I do to get her back? Any one help!!
