    Paternity Test
Hi Im from Pennsylvania, My son passed away in Feb of this year, from a methadone overdose. The coroner told us it was the first time that my son had ever taken it ,otherwise the dose he took would have never killed him. Also the coroner stated that my son was drug free for at least 6-8 months, no alcohol, nothing in his system. The girl he was seeing at the time was going to a Methadone clinic, and doing other drugs. My son died 2 days after he broke up with her, the night he died he had stopped down at her house to get his things. When he came to my house he had dinner with my Daughter and her husband, he kept saying that his throat felt funny like there was something caught in it, and he felt like gagging, He went home after a couple of hours and later on early Friday morning he passed away, We wonder if the girl and the person that was with her that night he stopped slipped the methadone in a drink it was the kind you disolve in Liquid We'll never know I guess. Ill get to the point now The Girl My son was seeing is pregnant is there anything we can do to make her get a paternity test done on the baby right after it is born. And would we have any rights to the baby. And Also do we need a lawyer to get this done
I hope you can give me some advise
    Thanks Cathy

You have to hire an attorney. It may be very difficult and hard battle.

If you live in the US there are only a few states that have Grandparents rights. If he is claiming any of your sons's estate she will have to have a DNA test done to prove that

You first step will be with a local attorney who will know your states law.
