    Trying to save my unborn child
    Hi I am needing help with unborn child. Again I am in Illinois. My ex Fiancé is about to have an abortion. I have seen where fathers won custidy of the unborn child and also stopped the abortion. If any one knows of anyone in sothern Illinois that can take my case or anything please let me know.

    Oh my gosh... I don't have a legal answer for you, but I hope somebody comes along soon who does! Is your ex in IL, too? Can you beg her to carry the baby to term and offer to take full responsibility of him/her after he/she is born? I'm so sorry this is happening. I hope someone comes along who can be of more help, but I just want you to know I feel for you.

    Yeah she is in Illinois as well. She done already contacted the abortion clinic and waiting for there call. So I have to do this as soon as posable. She has an week to get this done so I have to stop it fast.

    First, I merged all your threads. Please don't start new threads with the same issue.

    Second, this is a Family Law issue, not a chile rearing issue, so please post in the correct forum

    Third, You NEED to consult with an attorney FIRST thing tmmw morning. Generally father's, especially unmarried ones, have limited, if any rights in this instance.

    But the only way you will stop her is by having an attorney file for a temporary injunction to stop her.
