Father in Mexico and I want to get his rights dropped to my daughter. .
My daughters father left the states to go be with his girlfriend that got banned from the states. They are now married and he said he gave up his citizenship to be with his wife in Mexico. How can I get his rights dropped to my daughter with him being there, and can I even get his rights dropped? I don't want him to have anything to do with her. She's three years old and he's got no proof that he's ever seen her and he paid child support till she was two now he is way far behind in that and I just want him out of the picture for good in case something was to happen to me, I don't know what would happen to my daughter but I don't want to risk them even thinking about her going with him. . Please any help would be GREAT :) thanks!

There is a sticky at the top of the Family Law forum regarding termination of parental rights, which can be read here:
https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/family...st-116098.html
Also, this:
he's got no proof that he's ever seen her and he paid child support till she was two now he is way far behind in that
Doesn't mean anything. He doesn't need to "see" the child to prove anything. He's paying child support, which means he has been established as her biological father and has whatever rights the courts granted him; if he chooses not to exercise them, that's his issue. But you can't have his rights terminated just because he has never "seen" the child.

Hello c:
You can't. I don't see the need to tell you more.

First, please don't use the Comments feature to post follow-up. Use the Answer options instead.
Second, please don't presume to dictate how we answer questions here. As long as the answer doesn't violate our rules (in which case you report it) anyone can post what they want. You can choose to ignore any advice you don't like or agree with.
Did you bother to read the post that you were linked to? That posts answers your question. We can't tell you how to terminate his rights because you can't do it. At least not unless you marry someone who agrees to adopt your child.
You can specify someone to care for your child in your will. While it won't survive a challenge if the father chooses to fight it, he appears to have no desire to do so. Hopefully, before anything happens to you, you will marry and pursue the step parent adoption route.

So you don't want to hear anything - why bother posting?
Nobody asked you to provide more information; we have plenty. What you're asking can't be done in your current situation, I don't know how to make that anymore clear. Repeating yourself won't change the fact that it's not possible.

curious_tripp does not find this helpful : Because when you are trying to help someone you should never be rude it will not help anything
First, may I call your attention to the guidelines for using the comments feature found here:
https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/feedba...ure-24951.html
To reverse things, if you are asking for help you shouldn't be rude to people who offer that help. I was not being rude, you were in telling people you don't care for opinions. You now compound the rudeness by given my response that tried to educate you about the law and use of this site a negative rating.
