    Electricity problems?
I live in a fairly old home and my lights flicker as though the bulb is going bad and they are not. Sometimes my power goes completely out and comes right back on. I am trying to figure out what the problem is so it can be corrected..?

You should have an elctrician do a diagnostic and see what they say. If the light bulbs aren't faulty like you say then there must be something else. Or your house is haunted! JOKE! Just kidding! Hope this helps!

    Kesha,

On a more serious note, please contact your power utility and have them come out and test the voltage levels and connections of their service to your home.

Flickering lights may be caused by a failing meter base or failing connections to your meter.

    Do this now, please.
