    Replacing an outlet
My brother-n-law came over to look at some outlets that weren't working. He fixed 2 and said the other 2 had to be replaced. How would I go about doing that?
    Thanks,
    Cindy

Unless you are handy and know the basics about electricity I'd suggest that your brother in law returns with two new outlets. We need some info before we can help much. Why do they need to be replkaced, are the outlets physivally broken or did he just not find power in the box?

He tested all 4 and found no power, but when he checked further he found that 2 were fixable. The 2 that need to be replaced, one was because it's an outside connector and the cap broke so water got in, the other one I can't remember exactly what the problem was. I just know he said he wasn't able to fix it, and I needed to buy a new one.
    Thanks,
    Cindy
