Changing out 3-phase motor for single Phase
Besides matching the mounts & drives, are there wiring/switching issues changing out a 220-3phase for 220-S-Phase. I am interested in switching motors in a commercial diswasher.

Connecting a single phase motor on a three phase system is easy, only use two of any three hot legs.

Just be sure to change the breaker to a 2 pole, be sure the wire and breaker will handle the load, amps most likely will increase, so both may not be large enough.

Any overload settings or devices in a mag starter may need to be resized.

Be sure the motor is rated for the voltage supply.
