My dog has started to sleep a lot during the day.we don't know why but when we do intersting things she gets up and then she goes back to sleep.
When she goes outside to the garden she kind of sleeps but not really she sleeps most in doors.ANYONE KNOW?? WATS WRONG WITH HER?? ALSO SHE IS 3 AND A LAB!

As dogs get older the sleep more. There probably isn't anything wrong, but if you're concerned then talk to your vet about it.

If there isn't any medical problem dogs will sleep simply because they are bored. If they don't have another dog to play with or enough toys to entertain themselves they will simply go take a nap. Not much different than humans. Bored, go to sleep. So he just needs some more stimualtion, play time or someone to play with. I have been in rescue and rehab for 23 yrs and I see this a lot. They get bored -go take a nap. Nothing really to worry about. Maybe find him/her a bud if you're willing to take on another little fur kid. Otherwise entertain him a few times a day by fetch and other games.
