My dog is sick won't move haven't eating or drank water in 2 days I'm scared I need your help
How old is he? The pup needs to go to a vet.
My dog is also having diarrhea and throwing up as well please someone
Will this work pedialight?
We cannot do anything for your dog. She needs to go to the vet. I hope she lives long enough to get there. (If you hadn't eaten for two days and had diarrhea and were vomiting and were not moving, would your mom ask people on the Internet what to do? Or would she take you to the ER?)
Pedialyte if she will take any, but the clock is ticking and she desperately needs to go to the vet.
What if I'm pregnant like almost 3 in a half months is it OK for me to take care of my dog??
I don't have a car no vehicle or I would've went ma'am
Ma'am I'm scared and pregnant I need u to tell me what I should do for her if I can't go to the vet right now?
She needs to see a vet in the morning (if she lives through the night). Talk to the vet about a payment plan or give up the dog to an animal shelter and they will care for her -- or bury her.
Please help me wonder girl
Only you can do something for her. Ask a neighbor or relative to drive you to the vet. Why on earth do you have a dog and can't afford one? Do you know how expensive a baby is?
What are you saying give up my dog because I can't do that! I know I can do it myself I just need to know what to give her and I know if I'm telling you her symptoms then maybe you could tell me what to do and how to do it... Look I love her with all my heart, I'm a single parent OK and I'm pregnant. She is apart of my family ma'am and I'm NOT going to burry her OK if your not going to tell me what I can do for her then I'll figure it out on my own!
Look I can afford her OK but the vet charges way too damn much OK they want money OK everyone does! I can afford to get what she needs doing it myself I just need help OK that's all
There isn't anything you can do. She probably has parvo and will die without vet care. Has she moved since you've been on the computer? (How can you afford Internet if money is a problem?)
Can u help me or not Wondergirl?
What is your damn problem? She has moved I took her to go poop OK I DNT know why I'm waiting my time arguing with u Thanks for nothing! I know she will make it!
I live in Chicago, and am not a vet. Only a vet can help your dog now. I hope your children don't ever get desperately ill. What would you do then?
By the way I'm on a tight budget I can afford Internet because I work at home you ing nosy lady the vet charges 600.00 dallors to take care of her like my last dog they killed OK the vet killed my damn dog and I paid a thousand dollars that day for what? They killed him OK he's gone and can't come back now do you see why I'm so scared ma'am I'm hurt I just want to save my dog plez
I can go to the hospital no questions asked for my kids! The doctor at the hospital don't say ( ma'am if you can't afford to pay us we're going to have to take your child away or give up your wrights) that's what the vet says not the damn hospital OK! You really are something else! Bye
I live in Tampa fl
Ambulance will get my kids
Ambulances cost money.
Promise me you will take your dog to a vet tomorrow if she is still alive.
Look I prayed and when I wrote you I thought you were to help me OK not put me down like all y'all people that think your better then me who I try my best to be the mother I can be and you just have a lot of nerve you know what I'm sorry I even wrote u...
You didn't write me. I'm the only one who has responded so far. I have kids and I have had many rescued animals that I take to the vet when they are sick. When an animal (or child) is doing what your dog is doing (and not doing), it's time for medical intervention. Pedialyte would be only a stop-gap measure until you can get to a vet.
Maybe a dog expert will respond and give you some hope. I don't have any based on your description.
Small amounts of cooked chicken (no skin or fat or bones) and rice would be good. Not sure about ground beef.
Eating is not as much as a concern as drinking
Eating is a concern, without eating she will grow weaker her body needs nourishment.
Also a concern because there is a reason for not eating and drinking, I doubt you will be able to figure that problem out on your own.
Your best intentions to help her yourself could do great harm without getting to the root of the problem you efforts may be in vain.
Please don't argue with the only person that was on line that took the time to offer you an answer.
She actually offered you the best available answer and that was to get her to the vet.
That is an answer that I totally agree with.
Bottom line is this, your dog is not eating or drinking for two days, she has only laid around for this time. That's not a lot to go on, but even with much more information your answer would likely be the same.
Dogs do not just stop eating and drinking, something is going on and without finding out what the underlying cause is and treating it you will not likely turn her around on your own.
You can try pedialyte in order to help with hydration.
As also stated by WG, boiled chicken with rice, no skin, no bones, no fat, no seasoning.
But if she is vomiting all this may be pointless, if she can't keep it down it will do no good.
There are many things that could make your dog do act this way.
Parvo, intestinal obstruction, parasites, getting into something toxic, the list goes on and on.
I also take offense to your statement that you paid $600 and the vet killed your dog.
Don't know what happened but I doubt the vet intentionally killed your dog, that is just not what they do. It is not a profession that is without mistakes, and there are many times that a pet for whatever reason doesn't respond to treatment despite the vets best efforts.
So unless your vet intentionally did your dog harm you can't say that.
AND if that is your feeling about that vet, the solution is simple take this dog to a DIFFERENT vet.
If you can't treat consider rehoming the dog or euthanizing, unless you can stand by and watch her suffer.
Edit: Do you mind if I ask what was wrong with the other dog, the one that passed away?
What was he diagnosed with?
