    Just had to share!
In my hunt for a dog.. I may have found the one.

He's a stray that came in to work last week. If he isn't claimed by Monday, he is available for adoption.

    He's so darn cute!

How cute! He reminds me a little of Benji!

He's so sweet. I could just eat him up!

I hope you get him, let us know.

Also, we'll need more pictures and a name. :)

Hehe. If I get him I will post more. The doctor things I should call him Mowglie.

I can't have a dog for another 3 months, so it's a long shot, unless I can find someone to take him or he stays at the clinic.

If you lived close by I'd take him in a heartbeat, but you probably wouldn't get him back. ;)

Mowglie is cute, jungle book is one of my favorite cartoons.

Benji is cute too though, and he looks like Benji.

I agree... Maltapoo. I had one for 13 years. She was the best dog I have ever had! I bet he will be even more adorable once he has his haircut and bath.

I have to disagree - to me, looks like a Cockapoo. And he's about 15 pounds.

Not to disagree with our newly minted Dogs Expert, but I do have a definitive identification

That's exactly the kind of "dawg" that I want to get for my Mama. She's kind of lonely at the house by herself now .

He looks like a great one. I'll bet he's very smart . I think he looks like Benji too Artlady.

I hope it works out to where you can take him home. Will you spoil him? Sure, why not?

Well, there are his points toward re-certification for today.

Whatever his parents were, he just begs to be cuddled.

    I missed this before!

I would think that a Poodle/Cocker would need regular exercise as Poodles are a fairly energetic breed... just something to consider if your mother is older.
Breeds like Shih Tzus are great because they don't need a lot of exercise (they are very much lap dogs) and they look (kind of) similar...
Only problem is all breeds with longer hair need a fair amount of grooming (daily brushing plus 6 weekly clipping) ;)

Yeah, this dog is a ball of energy. He's not neutered yet, but thankfully he isn't the type to lift his leg on everything. He's pretty young though.

    Give him time hehe

I really do hope you can find a place for him to stay until you move.
Whether he be a Cockapoo or a Poodle x Cocker he's a real cutie :p

Oh yes! I am a huge fan of the bottom. But that's a different thread.

He looks just like him Dahlia!

I don't see many poodles without clipped faces, or in the color apricot (I have never actually seen one in the flesh  ) so after seeing that he may even be a purebred poodle!

    Dahlia, they are so cute.

He doesn't quite look like the pure-bred apricot poodles that a friend of mine had. From what I can tell his head, muzzle, and legs are bit stockier.

It is doubtful someone would dump a purebred poodle (worth too much money) but you never know...
If you saw my boy in the flesh you would not think he was a poodle, he's built like a tank, it's only the typical poodle clip that distinguishes him from a mutt.
(speaking of which he is going into a Swedish T trim in a few weeks, should be interesting!)

All odds are that he is a mix, but you could certainly get away with telling people he was just a poodle.

Well, his adoption day is actually Wednesday NOT Monday... but, I found someone to foster him for me for a few months! Sooo assuming he is good with their cats, he will be mine in a few months!

And to the previous comments, he is quite stocky compared to the poodles I've seen.

    What is his personality like?

It would be too easy to suggest a name like Mopsy just from looking at the one picture. :)

He's very timid, but extreeeemely affectionate once he gets to know. He's content to follow you around and sleep at your feet, or nap in your lap.

    Shadow.

    Barkley.

    Benji.
