This may be true ,I was just passing on some information that I had.
I was hurt because I treated like I was a bad person.
Thank all of you for understanding I hope.
Have a good and save life DG.
Yes but why run the risk when there are much safer alternatives out there?
Advil (Ibuprofen) can cause stomach ulcers and liver problems in dogs. Asprin does still have risks, but not as many/much as Advil.
I don't doubt your vet said Advil, but I don't think that vet knows what they are talking about. Baby asprin is much safer.
I have edited my previous post to exclude the information about anti-inflammatories, just for future readers.
My bad.
Just ignore all the rude people. Yes children's asprin works good my dog broke her back tooth in half and was bleeding really bad. I also had to wait until pay day (two days) for her to have surgery them my vet gave me 30 days to pay them back in full.
Don't know about all the agrees and disagrees .
I'm just glad the dogs gone to be all right.
Exactly, Children's ASPRIN, not ADVIL. That is what the whole argument was about if you actually read back.
Hawkball, I am sorry but I am going to close your thread, I can see this dragging on and on...
Please do come back and start a new topic about your Husky and let us know how he is doing.
