I'm glad for you that aversion training is working for you with this Shepherd. You mentioned the animals' mother's discipline methods as part justification for using aversion training. Did you actually try the mother dogs' method; grabbing the scruff of the neck and growling? If your vocal cords don't yelp or growl well, a firm tone of voice usually works as well.
My problem with aversion training is not so much the development of fear-biting as the occaisional stubborn dog that escalates the confrontations until you get arrested for hanging another dog. I really do hope you don't feel a need to hang another animal, as I will support the prosecutor just as I did the prosecutor of the Sheriff's Deputy here in Carolina last year for the same offense.
