OH chico no one hates you for not knowing about dogs. Most people just get a dog not realizing that many bad things can happen. My first experience with a dog was very devastating, One that I spent 1000's of dollars trying to fix. It was my first dog and he also died . But that experience taught me to learn everything I could about my next dogs and to seek advice. Please be sure to get advice on how to get rid of the parvo virus before you bring another puppy in your home. From what has been posted on here the virus can live a very long time on the carpets, ground etc... so seek advice before you get another puppy. Please try not to be so sad. You followed my advice to take the puppy to the vet. I am not sure just why the puppy didn't make it. It was very young and lacked resources to fight that horrible disease. Your love, and that of the rest of your family was very plain in your posts. I think I will wait a day or 2 before talking about a new puppy.
