    Dog Puking Up Worms
    Hi, we were given a jack russell mix over the holidays. This morning she puked up live worms... help. I have another jack we have had for years and she is the family baby. I don't want anything to happen to her or the other dog. Any ideas what this could be ? Please Help!!

    If you have the other dog on Heartgard+ or similar product, it should be safe from many other common worms. Until you have the worm infestation cleared up, I would use separate potty areas for the dogs.

    Best thing is to take the one with worms to the vet along with yuck, a sample.
    The vet will give you the correct, effective remedy. You could also try to identify them yourself and try some of the OTC remedies. If you find info at American Veterinary Medical Association, it should be reliable.

    Under housebreaking, in the Dogs sticky, there is information on cleaning up vomit.

    I had the same problem with my pup.it sounds as if she hasn't been wormed properly that's what my vet said! Take him/her to the vet an they can give you a proper tablet 4 it.try and keep your other dog away from the others stools as she can catch them 2.also keep a close eye on her stools.hope this is some help to you
