My Dog pees in his crate
I have a 10 month old english bulldog that is for the most part potty trained. I've had him for 3 months and he hasn't had an accident in the house for a long while. The only place he has accidents is in his crate if there is bedding in it. He can hold his pee all night long if he's sleeping straight on the plastic but the moment I give him his bed back he pees in it. Is there anything I can do to help break him of this habit? It first started when he was about 8 months old and he had to take prednisone for some hot spots. Since then he wets his bed. Sometimes he'll even walk straight in just to go pee.

    HELP!

That's frequently a side effect of Prednisone. As long as he seems to do OK without the bedding, leave it out. Before crating him, go out with him, walk him around until he has to go, them praise him. Make a big fuss about what a good dog he is. Walk around a little more so he doesn't figure out urinating is the signal to be taken inside and crated. Maybe in a few months, try the bedding again.
