    Sore Gums
About two weeks ago I had my tooth extracted everything was fine I tried not to eat on that side of my mouth. Then this Saturdays I brushed my teeth and I must of brushed to hard cause the area where the tooth was extracted from bleed a little on my tooth brush since then my tooth as not stop throbbing and it looks a little pink. Do I have an infection or is the area just irritated.

Thanks In pain notchick :( :(

Rinse with some warm water and salt. This could help with either irritation or infection.

You could have an exposed nerve. You need to switch to sensitive toothpaste, which will deaden the nerve. It usually will clear up in about 3 days. You may also have a dry socket. This is when the tissue isn't filling in ,and you have a big hole that throbs. This usually happens from sucking on a cigarette or a straw.
