Ha ha.. Well if it was low cut, I'm going to go with a yes. I'm glad your date went well, last night I started watching OTH the first season on DVD... Then watched a DVD live show of my favorite band, which actually helped me out with a lot of the feelings I have been going through lately. It made it like a weight was lifted off my shoulders

Funny, Rome. We both were influenced by mafiaA's question, huh?

Your "lifted weight"... check out my Quotes thread... I've gone through a whole roller-coaster of emotions already today... The post I just added may help...

    Especially the last quote... :)

Yeah, it's kind of low cut, with a key hole opening. I wore little sweater over it of course. Don't want to look too trampy at work. Lol. I hope he started pitching a tent right in the boardroom. Lol.

Yay for OTH!! Who's your fav band? I'm glad that they help you deal with all this crap you are going through. :)

Favorite band is A Day To Remember... They have such powerful lyrics and the songs they write tell stories about start of a relationship until the end. Favorite song, Heartless

Hey, wow, they are going to be at Bamboozle. I've been thinking about going this year. They have a bunch of good bands signed up already.

Last year I thought Bamboozle was pretty hot. I liked hanging out by the indoor stage on the astro turf. That was nice. I think Amber Pacific played in there. Good time.

Must. Fight. Urge. Been on this new "way of eating".. I refuse to call it a diet. Makes me seem frilly. Lost 18 lbs since the breakup and I'm feeling good.

Very nice! Na, its not a diet, it's a lifestyle change ;)

I lost 40 pounds after my last insanely awful breakup. The first 15 were due to him... the last 25 were solely for me. :)

Holy crap!! That is awesome! 18 pounds... wow. I wished I could that. I always get stuck at the 10th pound. Maybe there is a healthier version of sesame chicken you can make. But yeah... it would probably taste like wood. Lol.

Yeah. My vegetarian friend took me to this veggie meat place where he SWEARS it tastes like real chicken and beef.

... I ate a plate filled with what resembled wet cardboard... drizzled in sauce.

Then I saw myself 60 years from now eating this stuff ta a retirement home. Then I cried.

I devoted myself to gaining weight lol. I am trying to get bigger, muscle wise so 4500 calories a day.. I'm a champ at eating now but only drink water. I went from benching 200 to 260 since my break up with my ex. I've gotten bigger, got abs, and can run 4 miles without gasping for air

OMG... if I could eat 4,500 calories... wow... I think I would go to Chili's and have a rack of ribs, an appetizer--preferably the southwest eggrolls, and 2 long island ice teas. OK, that probably just took me over 4,500. Lmao!!

Ok, so remember this guy? He acted like he was waaay into me. And we always, ALWAYS had a great time. Last Friday, I got us tickets to see his favorite comedian and we got to meet him. And when he left at the end of the night he was making plans for us for the next night! When the next day came... he didn't want to go out. (This was the second time that he asked me to do something and was all excited, then we didn't get together.) Anyway, no big deal. Because I didn't want to rush things by seeing him too much.

But ALL this week he was asking me if I was still going to go our neighboring city's St. Patty's day bar tour this Saturday. I wasn't really feeling like going out. But it seemed he was excited, and it got me looking forward to it.

Well, I talked to him last night...

He told me that he wanted to stay local. I told him I would drive. He said "Nah." This is the third time this has happened. So more or less I told him "bye."

Why do men do this? They act like they are all into you, get you all excited, and then BAM! They just don't want to go out. Maybe it's because he says relationships scare him. But either way, I think I made the right decision. I can't see our situation getting any better if there is a pattern now. Right?

No the situation won't get any better with a pattern like this, and he sounds like a real jerk. If you want I can beat him up for you Mafia lol... Don't worry not all guys are like that, some of us actually look forward to a date and then go on it ha ha. I bet it will all work out and he will come crawling back to you, then you push him aside!

I think that's such a bizarre situation... why make plans if you're going to cancel on them?

Either he's just a fickle guy... or he's testing you to see how much you like him and how much you're willing to give in.. . but... GIRLS play that game. Not guys.

Aw, thanks Rome! Go all UFC on his a$$ for me!

At first I was all like... "It's BOYS like you that make my think I'm better off at home on a Saturday night with all my doors locked up tight. I won't be thinking about you baby." Got to love Brand Nizzle.

But now eff it. I'm going out. Screw him. His loss. I made his a$$ cookies for crying out loud. No bake of course. Lol. But still... we always had fun. HIS LOSS.

I know, it's totally bizarre. Cause the day before he cancelled, he asked me if I wanted to go see Andrew Dice Clay in Philly.? Bipolar much? I'm just not down with drama. You're right, I do see girls do this. And it's messed up and not cool. And I'm totally not like that.

He showed his hand early enough to help you decide if he is serious or not, and it's a good choice to leave him at home, by himself. Have a great time, without him.

Thanks Tal. It's times like these in the beginning when it's hard to make this kind of decision. You meet someone who is pretty cool, then they randomly throw out a red flag. Yep, I'm becoming more confident with my decision. Thanks in part to you guys.

That's what being healthy, and happy is about, avoiding everyone else's disasters, problems, and drama. Congrats on being able to see, and deal with red flags. Go back to your first posts, and see the growth.

Wow, thanks! Definite progress you're right!

I was talking to 3 guys in February. Now I'm down to zero... and it's definitely better to be single than deal with someone's crap. One of them was actually good though. No red flags. But he's leaving for DC in May to be an environmental protection specialist. Three doors down from Wolf Blitzer. I definitely aimed high with that one. And even though that didn't work out, I'm still going to aim high :) You guys are definitely encouraging and just plain ol' great!
