Make him take your toy poodle (or some similar "poofy" breed) for a daytime walk in public, preferably with a diamond-studded collar and a cute pink bow. Heck, you can even put one on him.

Call him shortie :) you could also kick him in the nuts, but don't grab them or do that bear with him tied up thing that could make him thing other things... if he is emotional bring up some big problem between you two. The only other ways I know work if you're a guy. Also hurting him might not always work I had my jaw broken and I was spitting out blood no tears no uneasyness of voice or anything.
