I personally think that if your friend knows that you have liked him for a very long time, than she will let you have him. Tell her that he asked you out and that you though it was inconciderate of her to ask you to ask him out for her. Explain to the guy that this is putting you in an awkward situation and just remmber to be honest. Don't lie to your friend cause sooner or later she will find out and its not worth it. Make sure your making the right decisions and stay true to yourself and what you believe in.
