There is nothing wrong with you. If there is, trust me you're not alone by a long shot. Maybe that's the problem, no one has a clue as to who you really are because you don't know, or are afraid to tell.

Most of us are like that, gay or straight, or whatever else that can define us. We fear being rejected, and just want acceptance.
