Many of these shows do "re-enactments"... and that's OK as long as the story is true.
I do love the History Channel and the Science Channel... but yes, some of it is just opinion and not necessarily mine.
For example, I do like the series "Through the Worm Hole" on the Science Channel... but so much of it is just opinion... but I do love hearing from the reputable Science guys that give input on shows like that.
Shows like that are not much different than "textbooks". There's a lot of stuff in Science and History and so called "Social Studies" textbooks that is just opinion... or worse yet, bunk.
It's like lots of other things in life: You have to do your own research before coming to a conclusion about what is true, what is just opinion and what is unknown altogether.
