    Tim Walz's weird record
Already mentioned on another post that he was a Covid tyrant as Guv of Minnesota.

He forced kids as young as 5 to wear masks . He restricted many outdoor activities . He had neighbors snooping on neighbors and reporting them; in his best Fidel Castro imitation; to enforce social distancing .

Then there is the question ;what did he do with all that government $$$$$$$$ that was allocated to the state ????????????? $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan (ARP).
Treasury Department's State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) sorta tracks that. Here is what they found .

$4.3 million (across two line items) to cover parking costs at state facilities "for state employees and visitors." The state used another $1 million to fund a study into the feasibility of paid family leave, and another $1 million to fund a statewide gun safety advertising campaign. State employees in the Minnesota Department of Corrections got more than $1 million in overtime pay, thanks to the ARP stimulus bill. Another $7.8 million was distributed to two homeless shelters. $929,866 line item for "small business development" to teach minority- and women-owned businesses how to qualify for state contracts. Another $1.8 million funded a grant program for the victims of crime, and $1.24 million was spent on Minnesota's "Grow Your Own " grant program, a state initiative that helps recruit teachers and other school employees. The Girl Scouts got $957,794 for an outreach program in low-income communities. $11 million to the Minnesota Zoo . $3.8 million to the Science Museum of Minnesota to cover operating and maintenance costs.$237,000 "movie theater relief grant program." The last 3 could be covid related . Those industries were clearly negatively impacted by his draconian policies.

Tim Walz says this when speaking about gun control."We shouldn't allow weapons that I used in war to be on America's streets". or “We can research the impacts of gun violence. We can make sure those weapons of war, that I carried in war, are only carried in war,”

The problem is that when he says this he brings up his time in the National Guard. Even compliant press CNN's Tom Foreman did some fact checking on this .

He concluded that Walz is doing some big time stolen valor.

“Walz did make a comment speaking to a group, he’s done it a couple of times, where he has used language that has suggested that he carried weapons in a fighting situation...I know from coming from a military family there is a difference between being in a combat area, being involved at a time of war, and actually being in a position where people are shooting at you...There is no evidence that at any time Governor Walz was in a position of being shot at, and some of his language could easily be seen to suggest he was, so that is absolutely false.”

The compliant press is celebrating Kam the Sham as she shuts up free speech during her rallies .

'I’m speaking': Kamala Harris hits back at protesters during Detroit campaign rally (youtube.com)

If the compliant press wasn't so orgasmic about the Kam -Walz ticket they would be calling her out for many things like stifling free speech and turning her back ala Clueless Joe when she turns her back on them when they ask her to respond to questions

Lydia Polgreen on X: "As a journalist and a citizen I think it would be very good for the Democratic ticket to sit for big interviews and routinely answer on the record questions from reporters on the trail. It is disappointing that this has not happened yet. But it is not too late to change that!" / X

As bad as that is ; it is even worse that unvetted Tim Walz has a belief that speech should be censored .

He said "There's no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech, and especially around our democracy."

Walz Says 'There's No Guarantee to Free Speech' for Misinformation, Hate Speech (youtube.com)Walz Says 'There's No Guarantee to Free Speech' for Misinformation, Hate Speech (youtube.com)

ummmmm yes there is . I would say that free speech is almost absolute with the usual rare exceptions (shouting fire in a crowded theater) .The First Amendment makes no distinction between good information and misinformation.

    Here is the full clip

"Years ago, it was the little things: telling people to vote the day after the election, and we kind of brushed them off. Now, we know it's intimidation at the ballot box. It's undermining the idea that mail-in ballots aren't legal. I think we need to push back on this. There's no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech, and especially around our democracy. Tell the truth, where the voting places are, who can vote, who's able to be there. Watching some states continue to weaken the protections around the ballot I think is what's inspiring us to lean into this. Again, all we're asking is to make it as easy and simple as possible to exercise their right to vote and participate in our democracy. I'm in 100 percent agreement with you. That makes it so that more people are there, you get more opinions brought in, and I think it tempers [those] extremes that we get. Again, I can't imagine someone going and standing in line for eight hours to try and vote and then being told that maybe the votes didn't count or maybe something's wrong. You have these candidates who lose and are on these ridiculous court cases that they keep bringing up and losing on."

Minnesota Gov. Walz Asks Fellow Democrats To ‘Think Big’ When It Comes To Fixing Voting Issues (youtube.com)

It doesn't sound any better in the long version. Perhaps he hasn't taken his thoughts to their logical conclusion. The Clueless Joe Justice Dept has decided that speech suppression can be an enforceable duty of law enforcement.

Douglass Mackey posted on Twitter under the pseudonym Ricky Vaughn . He had 58,000 followers on Twitter. He trolled Evita voters encouraging them to vote over the phone. yuck yuck nothing worse than the growing number of satire publications do routinely .

No where in the nation is there a district where you can register your vote over the phone. But some schmucks fell for the gag.

Was this even worth the money and effort to prosecute him? More to the point ;was it constitutional to do so ? The Feds went to work digging up an 1870 law passed to go after the KKK .

    18 U.S. Code § 241 - Conspiracy against rights | U.S. Code | US Law | LII / Legal Information Institute (cornell.edu)

One of his postings had a meme with a Black woman standing in front of an "African Americans for Hillary" sign, with the caption "Avoid the line. Vote from Home" and "Text 'Hillary' to 59925." About 4,900 people sent the text . That total could not possible change the outcome of the election. But to the Feds that was besides the point.
They concocted the charge that he conspired to "injure, oppress, threaten and intimidate one or more persons in the free exercise and enjoyment of a right and privilege secured to them by the Constitution and laws of the United States, to wit: the right to vote."

Is this sort of prosecution constitutional? After all, people often lie in political campaigns. Candidates do it, activists do it, political operatives do it. Can election lies simply be outlawed?
Are Douglass Mackey’s Memes Illegal? - Tablet Magazine

Walz evidently thinks it should be ;at least what he considers to be lies.

As noted above ;there is hardly anything said in public that isn't fact checked to death. We are in very dangerous times when elected officials as high up the food chain as Guvs and VP candidates advocate for speech suppression.

Tim Walz on opposition to abortion.

"Some of us are old enough to remember when it was Republicans who were talking about freedom. It turns out now, what they meant was, the government should be free to invade your doctor's office...."In Minnesota, we respect our neighbors and the personal choices that they make. Even if we wouldn't make the same choice for ourselves, there's a golden rule: mind your own damn business!"
"Mind your own damn business." | Tim Walz (youtube.com)

As noted above his message doesn't count when talking about freedom and his record about managing covid in his state. Then it was perfectly proper for him and other Guvs to act as petty dictators . He set up a snitch hotline for people who would not mind their own damn business about their neighbors violating his dictates .

His mind your own business message doesn't include parental rights .In fact ;when it comes to education the lefties tell parents to mind their own business .They will indoctrinate children without parental consent. In fact parents who oppose that can be criminally pursued and persecuted . When parents object to their kids being exposed to kiddie porn in libraries he says that they want to "ban books " . He signed legislation that prevented the banning of kiddie porn books in Minnesota under the guise of protecting LGBTQ++xyz books . When parent read from these books at school board meetings, they get escorted out by police.

Parents have no rights when it comes to children choosing mutilation surgery. Tim Walz has told parents that in Minnesota it is the children who have to rights . He has made it a safe state for kids from all over the nation to get mutilated with both surgery and with hormones.

But when it comes to parents who want to off their kids ;that is something the government should protect ,

JD Vance is weird . Tim Walz is weirder

Both served in the military. Vance enlisted in the Marines out of high school He was in the Public Affairs unit. He went to Iraq . He admits to being lucky to not have been in combat even as he traveled and reported in combat situations.

Walz served honorably in the National Guard for 24 years until he was called on to go to Iraq . Then he quit . His unit was left without an NCO . Then throughout his political career he has claimed or implied that he was in combat.

Vance was exposed and was trained about guns and gun safety as a young boy. He admits to never using a gun in combat. Walz hunts then would deny hunting rifles to hunters (most hunters prefer ARs )
NSSF: Study Shows Target Shooters, Hunter Choose AR-15s - Game & Fish (gameandfishmag.com)

They are not weapons of war as Walz claims in his rhetoric. He never carried them in combat either .
We can make sure those weapons of war that I carried in war are only carried in war."

Vance is hillbilly weird . He wrote a heartfelt book about growing up in Appalachia with it's charms and it's problems . Walz is considered normal. He signed a law to mandate that boys bathrooms have tampon dispensers .

    This is what he said in Massachusetts;

“I don’t name call people. This thing about describing the behavior of Donald Trump and his running mate as weird and out of touch with the rest of us, that was an observation, not name calling. Nobody’s asking for the things they’re asking for.”

He then proceeded to trash Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville .

“I feel like one of my roles in this now is to be the anti-Tommy Tuberville, to show that football coaches are not the dumbest people”.

    No name calling there .

BTW Tuberville was the head coach of a major college football team for 13 seasons . He was the AP SEC Coach of the Year in 1997 at Ole Miss.

Walz was an assistant coach of a high school team.

    Quote:

According to court records, a Nebraska state trooper clocked Walz going 96 mph in a 55-mph zone. The trooper wrote that he detected a strong smell of alcohol on his breath. Walz failed field sobriety and preliminary breath tests. He was taken to a hospital for a blood test and was booked into the Dawes County Jail. A transcript of his plea hearing on March 13, 1996, quotes the prosecutor as saying his blood test showed an alcohol level of 0.128%, compared with a legal limit of 0.10%.

OR I could try to hug Trump but couldn't get my arms around his portly waist and chest and wouldn't want my head to be crushed by his accordion-playing arms and hands. And his dad paid their doctor to name fictitious "bone spurs" as the reason Donny couldn't serve in the military.

And forget hugging cat-woman-hater Vance! My husband and I have rescued neighborhood stray/feral cats since 1972. Over the years we've found good homes for some and adopted many ourselves -- Thomas Jefferson, Rasputin. Kuro, Cleo, Little Debbie, Pepper, and so many more. Our current one is Matilda {"Mattie"), a beautiful all-black female, born and raised in our backyard in 2009, and now gets massages from "Daddy" every evening at 10 p.m. central.

Nothing but a wild tale. At any rate, isn't it strange you've never brought that up concerning Biden. Wonder why?

Biden received five student draft deferments, first as an undergraduate at the University of Delaware and later as a law student at Syracuse University.

He misspoke his rank and the circumstances about his departure from the National Guard .

Walz's attacks on Vance frequently mock the fact that Vance went to Yale. He did it again last night “I grew up in the small town of Butte, Nebraska, population 400. I had 24 kids in my high school class,” “And none of them went to Yale.”

When he does that he is also mocking the Dems who went to Yale and shared the stage at the DNC with him this week.
Sen Corey Booker was a Yale Law grad
Both Bubba and Evita went to Yale where they met.
Both Oprah Winfrey and Stevie Wonder spoke last night . Both have honorary degrees at Yale.

I won't even mention the Dems who went to other elite Ivy League scbools like Harvard (the emperor and Mayor Pete come immediately to mind) .

On comment #12 I spoke of Tampon Tim's association with a Hamas supporting cleric.

In an interview about the Gaza war Tim tried to thread the needle giving lip service to Israel's right to self defense while mostly condemning them for defending themselves.
“Well, I think first and foremost, what we saw on Oct. 7 was a horrific act of violence against the people of Israel. They have certainly, and the vice president said it, I’ve said it, have the right to defend themselves, and the United States will always stand by that,”

Then came the 'but monkey '

But we can’t allow what’s happened in Gaza to happen,” “The Palestinian people have every right to life and liberty themselves. We need to continue, I think, to put the leverage on to make sure we move towards a two-state solution. I think we’re at a critical point right now.”.......

“We need the Netanyahu government to start moving in that direction. But, I think those folks who are speaking out loudly in Michigan are speaking out for all the right reasons,”

LISTEN: WCMU's full-length interview with Tim Walz | WCMU Public Radio

Yeah there is always a caveat when it comes to Israel defending themselves . When we were attacked we invaded 2 nations and overthrew their governments . But Israel needs to show restraint when attacked by terrorists . Note he never blames Hamas .

They are not then following World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) Standards of Care .

J got the story right a dude who calls himself Christina Lusk was released after DWI charges in 2012 . Then he got arrested for felony drug charges and was given a 5 year sentence in 2018.
The story says he had already started taking female hormones. His lawsuit claimed that the Minnesota Dept of Corrections refused to house him in a woman's prison and also refused to do the castration conversion on the taxpayer's dime.

Well he won. Lusk got $245,903 A group called 'Gender Justice filed the suit and got almost $200,000 in the deal. The law firm Robins Kaplan LLP partnered in the suit and got $51,096 . This firm had contributed $22,000 to the Walz Guv campaign.

So here you have a private organization and a contributor to the Walz campaign milking the Minnesota tax payer.

The deal also assures that the state is forced to change policies without the citizens having a say. He has been release from custody and placed under supervision after it was ordered that he be moved to a female prison and the state has to foot the bill for his castration .

I'm seeing a pattern here. Lots of dudes claim to be women and want to go to women jails . I don't see so many females asking to be transferred to male prisons.
