The slander accusation has been discovered.
    Quote:

Ben Crump, who has been a lead attorney in several police brutality cases, tweeted a viral video with more than 4 million views of a verbal altercation between a pregnant New York City physician assistant and multiple young Black men before deleting it hours later after the segment aired and went viral on Twitter.
"This is unacceptable!" Crump captioned the tweet with the video. "A white woman was caught on camera attempting to STEAL a Citi Bike from a young Black man in NYC. She grossly tried to weaponize her tears to paint this man as a threat. This is EXACTLY the type of behavior that has endangered so many Black men in the past!"
His accusation was flat wrong. She had paid for the bike and had a receipt showing that to be true. After being notified that he would face charges of slander, Crump meekly and mildly withdrew the tweet.

This will not be the only case. Her attorney says he will bring suit against a number of news sources that falsely presented the situation as an example of her being racist.

    GOOD!!

I saw the video on Twitter . yes good thing she had a receipt . A 6 month pregnant nurse trying to steal a bike from a group of teens : That would be a pretty stupid thing to try. She was put on leave from her job .The hospital must've assumed she was guilty.

Yep. The whole idea is preposterous. The hospital is run by cowards. Sadly, her career is now over with, at least for the short-term, but I imagine she will be set for life after these defamation suits are finished.

The slander has a name . They call her Karen and the bottom line it is another dis at womanhood. Karen" is a pejorative for an entitled and demanding white lady.

They called the woman above "Hospital Karen" Her name is Sarah Jane Comrie .It used to be that pregnant women were treated with special respect . Now she was subject to leave of absence.... having her address published on social media ...and being accused of "performance crying" .

Recently Bo Young Lee ; the 'Diversity Equity Inclusion ' boss at Uber ,organized an event called “Moving Forward: Don’t Call Me Karen” .
It was “an open and honest conversation about race with a panel discussion featuring white women at the manager and C-suite level at Uber and Uber Eats. Lee, an Asian woman, moderated the conversation."

Uber exec on leave after hosting 'Don't Call Me Karen' panel (nypost.com)

For that outrage she was put on leave of absence.

The women's movement has come full circle. Progressives want to put empowered women back in their place. Women's movement ....say hello to intersectionality.

Libs oppose the banning of pornographic material from elementary school libraries, but are completely comfortable with banning opinions by disallowing any public discussion of them.

Not true! Of course, if cons knew about those discussion groups, the realization would set their hair on fire.

Oh? What discussion groups are you talking about? I was talking about the banning of conservative speakers.

No, you won't. Besides, you're the one constantly preaching the point. I don't think that is what Jesus meant to begin with.

Where did I mention "discussion groups"?

Please stop with the stupidity. It really gets tiresome. "Discussion groups" are not mentioned because that is not what was meant. I was referring to con speakers such as Ben Shapiro who do Q and A's afterwards, thus allowing for DISCUSSION.

Not in Q and A's after a speech. For that matter, you and I (two individuals) are having a discussion. There are no groups.

There is no audience in front of the speaker? Go to a congregational meeting someday. I was a church secretary. We had lots of discussions regarding Synod, District, and congregation policy that always encouraged members' input.

The discussion is between the speaker (one person) and a questioner (one person). Good grief.

Where you been, buddy? They must think differently down South. A discussion involves more than two people. What we are having is an argument.

discussion: the action or process of talking about something in order to reach a decision or to exchange ideas:

My fourth graders could understand that. Note that there is no necessity for a group.

By two OR more than two people.

Wikipedia: discussion group is a group of individuals, typically who share a similar interest, who gather either formally or informally to discuss ideas, solve problems, or make comments.

    discussion:
Also found in: Thesaurus, Legal, Idioms, Encyclopedia, Wikipedia.

    1. Consideration of a subject by a group; an earnest conversation.

Ha! My fourth graders were smarter than yours!

Hmm. Turns out the lady was telling the truth. How about that?

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBPkd2DAETo

Or, as USA Today wrote, "There was just one problem with the story: It went viral not for its accuracy, but because it fit many people’s preconceived notions about race in America. It turns out that Comrie was the victim – and the person with the right to the bike – and her attorney has the receipts to prove it."

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/opini...s/70242982007/

How prejudiced would someone have to be to actually believe that a 6 month pregnant woman, a med professional leaving a 12 hour shift, would walk up to a bike rack with a dozen or more available bikes, and then decide to try and steal a bike already rented by a young man standing there who is a great deal more powerful than her? It's a story made for racist fools who flatter themselves by supposedly standing up for "embattled" minorities.

Here's hoping that Comrie becomes independently wealthy by suing the sorry individuals and news sources who slandered her because, in truth, of their own racist views. Hopefully this will become Sandmann II.
